A Time to Remember with Poppies

The challenge at Rainbow Lady this week is to add some poppies.

November 11th is a very special day being Remembrance Day.... so whether you are remembering someone personally or just all the brave men and women who have given their lives fighting for us either here or in many other countries....now is the time to honour them with our crafting.

For my card I used Chocolate Baroque Wild Meadow stamps and a variety of DI's.
As I don't have a poppy stamp I used one of the stamps, which is just spots, to look like poppies.  Added a couple of butterflies to cover up my smudges!  Die cut with Tim Holtz Ornamental die, sentiment is Crafty Individuals.

Thanks for looking,
Sandra

Love this Sandra - the effect of the grass and flowers is really effective.

Superbly effective with the spots representing the poppies & your red matting is very eye-catching tieing in with the theme perfectly.
