Baby's First Christmas

At Bah Humbug the challenge is a Baby's First Christmas Card to celebrate little Eli and at Papertake Weekly it's a First Christmas Card to celebrate their first Christmas challenge of the year.

For my card I used two papers from Dovecraft Christmas Fancy Paper pack which I won from Bah Humbug earlier this year.  I then stamped an image from Humphrey's Corner which was free with a magazine recently and coloured with Promarkers.  I used an X - cut die  and added a bit of bling around the edge.

Thanks for looking

Papertake Weekly Spoooooky Hues

There is a new challenge over at Papertake Weekly

"So onto this week and our challenge is
Spooooky Hues
All you have to do this week is to use  Halloween inspired colours, so think reds and blacks,  purples and oranges, you know the sort of thing lol!!  You can do a Halloween card if you want but you don't have to, as long as the colour theme is there."

For my card I used Core'dinations for the base card and used stamps from the  Howling Moon set from Chocolate Baroque. I then stamped onto silk card from the same stamp set and brayered with Big and Juicy Hydrangea.

St Luke's Challenge and Papertake Weekly

The challenge this week at St Luke's is a Card Buffet!

"...you have to pick FOUR items from the list of 10 below and include them in your card - not 3, not 5, but just FOUR.  If you want to include a focal image and a sentiment as well, then these can be in addition to the 4 buffet items (but you can also count them as part of your 4 items - ie an embossed sentiment).."

For my card I chose Patterned Paper (Kay & Co), Embossing (around the Die Cut), Ribbon and Flowers.

I am also entering the Papertake Weekly Challenge which is a sketch.
