text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">My cards today use the lovely <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/from-nature-2-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">From Nature 2</a> stamp set.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">First I started with a slim DL sized panel used lengthwise and masked off the top and bottom with low tack tape. I then used some autumn colour Distress Inks and heat set. Next I used some Versamark ink and randomly stamped one of the leaves and embossed in gold. I then stamped a different leaf and embossed in copper. I then covered everything with Versamark and embossed in clear. I repeated for three layers being careful not to heat too much as the embossed leaves will start to melt into the clear layers! Once it was cool I put it into the freezer. After about 15 minutes I took it out of the freezer and cracked the embossed layer - so satisfying! I then rubbed some brown Distress Ink over the top to reveal the crackles. I trimmed and glued the panel to a DL card base and added a sentiment.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9b4YC8O8-vbtX51CRiVoSwdCxccyVrE66sHinbURYPK4r2S1oh-sxknDnYIrRb0CHgnxi_wflpHS5WrWb1xi-I8aB4rCSoQzhfiInMVvpFUP0-ufRcUS2Nh9hInu6OH69bz3OGeLlVum2UBn2kIoYkVntjakPOiDh2gl1Tfzn0o7Zg0M3PnQmCK53/s4640/IMG_20220723_155200514.jpg"><img border="0" data-original-height="2192" data-original-width="4640" height="302" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9b4YC8O8-vbtX51CRiVoSwdCxccyVrE66sHinbURYPK4r2S1oh-sxknDnYIrRb0CHgnxi_wflpHS5WrWb1xi-I8aB4rCSoQzhfiInMVvpFUP0-ufRcUS2Nh9hInu6OH69bz3OGeLlVum2UBn2kIoYkVntjakPOiDh2gl1Tfzn0o7Zg0M3PnQmCK53/w640-h302/IMG_20220723_155200514.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">Close up of the crackles.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3v7P85tY_h_ywaRsk9uIV1o_PeH30ZkL1EGG1wjTdHhn46mNXBrjMeaGM0gEw2k1NqEYUz6IBnwy7yNLZ_NWYcvBt0tTJ1AJ4LjV-a8c0N8JRBeaPJiTPhdr9xPMd_jIuRNVsgra7fxWWCtiwPw3eaLuETiU_yq5_GpWc4qH8LN4nSLpjYSn0grB_/s1600/IMG_20220723_155224654.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3v7P85tY_h_ywaRsk9uIV1o_PeH30ZkL1EGG1wjTdHhn46mNXBrjMeaGM0gEw2k1NqEYUz6IBnwy7yNLZ_NWYcvBt0tTJ1AJ4LjV-a8c0N8JRBeaPJiTPhdr9xPMd_jIuRNVsgra7fxWWCtiwPw3eaLuETiU_yq5_GpWc4qH8LN4nSLpjYSn0grB_/w400-h300/IMG_20220723_155224654.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">My next card is a quick and easy make. A great set of stamps for focal points and backgrounds.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">For my first card I used the Christmas words and the spotty strip.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I started with a 7.5" piece of card and stamped the words in Versafine Clare ink, I then stamped the spotty border below and repeated until I had covered my card. I moved the stamps to show different parts each time. I wanted a Christmas focal point so decided on this little guy from <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/a-tomte-christmas-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">A Tomte Christmas</a>. I started with a 5.5" piece of card. I then stamped the spotty strips at the top and bottom of the card and filled each hole will glitter glue. On a separate piece of card I stamped the words using multi colours of Versafine Clare and cut out the section I needed and layered onto some gold card. I glued the spotty card onto a 6x6" card base and added the word panel using foam pads. A great fun birthday card!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq8Yr5VyR1sgVOCgXOslingnxr5tJ1uMTDWrExjkgplTrKyP33MHW8UdGY34H-J79c599J3g-XWXmY7UGY-sewmPf02-dwum-EHv0QyUV75n8vRwgCrVThL4bSRRKYC6KP_yCk--GPYH174VHdMTwnQxHyBM6PNWRfYGD3D7UDjRJkI-P8tucPxHS0/s2610/IMG_20220723_192819301.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2584" data-original-width="2610" height="317" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq8Yr5VyR1sgVOCgXOslingnxr5tJ1uMTDWrExjkgplTrKyP33MHW8UdGY34H-J79c599J3g-XWXmY7UGY-sewmPf02-dwum-EHv0QyUV75n8vRwgCrVThL4bSRRKYC6KP_yCk--GPYH174VHdMTwnQxHyBM6PNWRfYGD3D7UDjRJkI-P8tucPxHS0/s320/IMG_20220723_192819301.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">The afternoon shows featured the Floral Paraphernalia stamps. A great way to use up those pieces you have been saving! I stamped the main image from the stamp set in archival ink and then used a die to cut it out. On a larger piece of card I used one of the smaller stamps to fill around the sides. I also used <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/small-graph-paper-rubber-stamp-sheet-chocolate-block.html">Small Graph Paper</a> to fill any gaps. I then mat and layered these onto a 6x4 card base.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEl5UUgUQhgU7MNzEmM2DDxQbRDhn89ukhEF5UKdxtjdNYKZFeO5HQ0te-VQZHhXo62e1AO5Q3bfGeA1d1QE2PcTrJAEBqzJ1xVdVzC54rHQYyvehXo2XcvMSAdwfH8vnbkBufWiLxQ1e_uZbpSCTPJSN7GpikQyBI5pRnQ5iMMkSZMrN9BIygZb1R/s2610/IMG_20220626_103406429.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1959" data-original-width="2610" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEl5UUgUQhgU7MNzEmM2DDxQbRDhn89ukhEF5UKdxtjdNYKZFeO5HQ0te-VQZHhXo62e1AO5Q3bfGeA1d1QE2PcTrJAEBqzJ1xVdVzC54rHQYyvehXo2XcvMSAdwfH8vnbkBufWiLxQ1e_uZbpSCTPJSN7GpikQyBI5pRnQ5iMMkSZMrN9BIygZb1R/w400-h300/IMG_20220626_103406429.jpg" width="400" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: verdana;">For my second card I used Distress Inks randomly over a DL sized card and dried it with my heat gun. I am sharing some more of my cards from the Create and Craft show in June for Chocolate Baroque.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">My first card uses the Parfum de Paris stamp set.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I took an 8x8 card blank and mat and layered two patterned papers for my background. I then stamped the flourish background in archival ink and mat and layered this. My final layer was the script stamp from the set. I finished with a small resin Eiffel Tower.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUiLamx2V9g5wuT-I7c-bvJykjCu78mBID4v5J8QwwXnufJVRnSwYZIagyzU3W2qE_nyHwmeSywMuXm5pS-SdJI2eatVVXxRA_DSYvhT39IuSIIFHnQzJiCV0sssyEUYK39g9kP2pyVP3hnzFltzQfmCY2AwISDREnhnmClhlUuXXoNuI1zBzLkhMS/s2637/IMG_20220526_075647907.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2637" data-original-width="2610" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUiLamx2V9g5wuT-I7c-bvJykjCu78mBID4v5J8QwwXnufJVRnSwYZIagyzU3W2qE_nyHwmeSywMuXm5pS-SdJI2eatVVXxRA_DSYvhT39IuSIIFHnQzJiCV0sssyEUYK39g9kP2pyVP3hnzFltzQfmCY2AwISDREnhnmClhlUuXXoNuI1zBzLkhMS/w396-h400/IMG_20220526_075647907.jpg" width="396" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">My next card features the beautiful Baroque Corners. I used my stamping platform to stamp and emboss the largest corner stamp 4 times onto some grey card. I love how different patterns emerge, like the circle in the centre. I then used a selection of pencils to colour in just parts of the stamping. A very elegant stamp.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwpDO6UW-NaiOOSr9WDlUPtR1alYMprWLEi8zKnji-fu-BueWIuYDAzuRZ21b9V9I4KySmlMRkJpLjIPD-bna84GfvEl7BS-97a3KaZIfkh3W-bI4Fi9qAAKm4vjUJvefamD8TKdVi3cz4Hu_1uM55gV1n18bZVxruOCHr9IR6b0vgfSmKOuffVCmK/s2158/IMG_20220526_075715365_2.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2080" data-original-width="2158" height="385" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwpDO6UW-NaiOOSr9WDlUPtR1alYMprWLEi8zKnji-fu-BueWIuYDAzuRZ21b9V9I4KySmlMRkJpLjIPD-bna84GfvEl7BS-97a3KaZIfkh3W-bI4Fi9qAAKm4vjUJvefamD8TKdVi3cz4Hu_1uM55gV1n18bZVxruOCHr9IR6b0vgfSmKOuffVCmK/w400-h385/IMG_20220526_075715365_2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><p><br /></p>My last card today uses the Bird Song stamp set. I made a gatefold card using 15x 42cm card base. I made three slightly smaller panels, 2 for the front and 1 for inside. On the outside panels I stamped the bird house and on the inside panel I stamped the bird bath and swirls. I added some blended Distress Ink and mat and layered onto black card.<p></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieUHUp-GZls9c6FiNHo_9P1KPNhYBaVfF-rfk8_Dhh2Hr257-UhLplV3iyurUrVv3og99VHpwhuHeiTe9D_o-JeK6MGfFrlxMMPDlb_yMM-M3-C9YkSHLykqh92NjFw0cM68ShKajf1gxS_B6Ji-8exbuVb0N0qGO5Wp5VmPwGcla7HAZCfj7uJeli/s1618/IMG_20220529_095732770.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1422" data-original-width="1618" height="351" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieUHUp-GZls9c6FiNHo_9P1KPNhYBaVfF-rfk8_Dhh2Hr257-UhLplV3iyurUrVv3og99VHpwhuHeiTe9D_o-JeK6MGfFrlxMMPDlb_yMM-M3-C9YkSHLykqh92NjFw0cM68ShKajf1gxS_B6Ji-8exbuVb0N0qGO5Wp5VmPwGcla7HAZCfj7uJeli/w400-h351/IMG_20220529_095732770.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /> Thanks for looking<p></p><p>Sandra xx</p>Sandrahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18138483587371235308noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8817692420442836699.post-1882111508901999402022-06-25T07:00:00.001+01:002022-06-25T07:00:00.192+01:00Bold and Beautiful<p> Hello, I am sharing some more of my cards from the Chocolate Baroque shows on Create and Craft.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">My cards feature stamps from <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/not-more-flowers-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Not More Flowers!</a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">First I used my stamping platform and stamped the larger leaf four times in a green archival ink on a 7x7 card base. I then used one of the smaller leaves and filled in the gaps with a different shade of green archival ink. I stamped the sentiment onto a die cut circle and layered this onto a slightly larger circle. Finally I mat and layered the card onto a 8x8 card base.</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0mOwDTrqpWaJPZ4lANO5MJm4bKL_fgM37w2fe80blKKy7E3bQKPGDRr0tmAR1VHTvHoFKMYESOAN3MCOm9p9BBiX9a_ikeVYvvYGCvvgJXJ02HLmWeTw4G17LYdNKAVYkjS6jtTUPeB4eWd0HsyH9BlyQHhRgUqTc_O3QjvmcaefUHO-1TcPU3yFD/s2620/IMG_20220421_165349417.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2620" data-original-width="2610" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0mOwDTrqpWaJPZ4lANO5MJm4bKL_fgM37w2fe80blKKy7E3bQKPGDRr0tmAR1VHTvHoFKMYESOAN3MCOm9p9BBiX9a_ikeVYvvYGCvvgJXJ02HLmWeTw4G17LYdNKAVYkjS6jtTUPeB4eWd0HsyH9BlyQHhRgUqTc_O3QjvmcaefUHO-1TcPU3yFD/w399-h400/IMG_20220421_165349417.jpg" width="399" /></a></div><p><br /></p>For my second card I used a 6x6 satin card. I stamped the Dandelions, twice, and the sentiment with VersaMark. I then used a brayer and Distress Inks over the top. The VersaMark resists the ink and I am always amazed how crisp the stamping is with this technique. Once it was dry I buffed the card with some tissue and stamped some more Dandelions in the background in archival ink. I mat and layered onto some silver card and then onto an 8x8 card base.<p></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlvJOj5_OsBotEPy1C4BkG30qx1w2ZOsQ1xiBuYFhpwUtaZQwrZPTd78EdUZz1ZlAF66zjrDCjKtQpwGBmzPJ-pR68ySmqe_QRPHrRMJ4wdK-Y1_T9jOfLbHz8pGdlqjFNf_Q_WTcZbVZWIsXn-lFplQ1GBCha4WFD1qhGo_NRACzwZpl0dLE20Un0/s2610/IMG_20220423_172417244.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2598" data-original-width="2610" height="399" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlvJOj5_OsBotEPy1C4BkG30qx1w2ZOsQ1xiBuYFhpwUtaZQwrZPTd78EdUZz1ZlAF66zjrDCjKtQpwGBmzPJ-pR68ySmqe_QRPHrRMJ4wdK-Y1_T9jOfLbHz8pGdlqjFNf_Q_WTcZbVZWIsXn-lFplQ1GBCha4WFD1qhGo_NRACzwZpl0dLE20Un0/w400-h399/IMG_20220423_172417244.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div>Thanks for looking<p></p><p>Sandra x<br /> </p>Sandrahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18138483587371235308noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8817692420442836699.post-78341232696388747082022-06-13T07:00:00.002+01:002022-06-13T07:00:00.185+01:00Blended Colours<p>Hello, I am showing some more of my cards from the May show on Create and Craft for Chocolate Baroque</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">My first card uses the <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/alium-collage-rubber-stamp-sheet-dl.html">Alium Collage</a> set.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I started with a piece of watercolour card and stamped the Allium stamp in archival ink. I coloured the Allium with two shades of purple water colour markers. I added splashes of colour around the image and then spritzed it all with water so that the colours merged. I added a border from <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/making-more-marks-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Making More Marks</a> and a sentiment.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisye9sw7Px-L_7NsdjNcl68bGMNuMTnH90gRCkWjxheUbN6xUmv5MSjtn9Yl4OrOiX2GZ6luGfwrXpcNHlK9FJwzC_FtYsfU_Ayrqoglsz7Qx9agZD9GGRjkZgFOqkc3FF6iDmsS9duSAoCCpLSdqXDXsG-lClr4cRdHCs-BZmY5Bs7Y6rRyLd6g5K/s3530/IMG_20220421_165324306.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3530" data-original-width="2610" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisye9sw7Px-L_7NsdjNcl68bGMNuMTnH90gRCkWjxheUbN6xUmv5MSjtn9Yl4OrOiX2GZ6luGfwrXpcNHlK9FJwzC_FtYsfU_Ayrqoglsz7Qx9agZD9GGRjkZgFOqkc3FF6iDmsS9duSAoCCpLSdqXDXsG-lClr4cRdHCs-BZmY5Bs7Y6rRyLd6g5K/w296-h400/IMG_20220421_165324306.jpg" width="296" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">My next card uses stamp from the <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/just-useful-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Just Useful</a> stamp set.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"> I stamped the brush strokes using Versafine Clair inks using my stamping platform. Using Memento ink I stamped the main image, the dragonflies and the sentiment from <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/life-is-wonderful-unmounted-rubber-stamp-set-a6.html">Life is Wonderful</a>. I then coloured the images using alcohol markers in shades of Warm Grey and Cool Grey. I started by rolling the clay out slightly larger than I needed and pressing the inked up stamp evenly into the clay. I found that using an acrylic block helped. I gently pulled the stamp off the clay and used a glass tumbler to cut out the circle. I used a skewer to make the hole and left it to dry. Once it was dry, I left it overnight, I coloured with inks and used Distress Ink around the edge.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjUywKlZPcURsGiMJaYcvY0ciYLVhZ-QGauZBRVvZk-BV89kHCxIJJlWIb5YDxZeYWy1Xzurt7vY7XHFVbBQzhaN0NO6QazMZ-geDIfn_-k3RfbmKTELtgw58KDwaMjxWkyw5aFGws0Ed_dpFyTQATgN8MOKMFD0of7gBjt9C6WDiZyxzS8Y6zPT0b/s1368/IMG_20220326_083929532.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1368" data-original-width="1257" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjUywKlZPcURsGiMJaYcvY0ciYLVhZ-QGauZBRVvZk-BV89kHCxIJJlWIb5YDxZeYWy1Xzurt7vY7XHFVbBQzhaN0NO6QazMZ-geDIfn_-k3RfbmKTELtgw58KDwaMjxWkyw5aFGws0Ed_dpFyTQATgN8MOKMFD0of7gBjt9C6WDiZyxzS8Y6zPT0b/w368-h400/IMG_20220326_083929532.jpg" width="368" /></a></div><p><br /></p>For my next card I've been playing around with frames on my cutting machine..... I kept all the pieces in place and stamped the sunflowers and leaves, using <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/masking-tissue-a4-pack-of-3.html">Masking Tissue</a> when needed. When it was all stamped I removed the Tissue and coloured with Distress Inks. I stamped the word Peace from <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/gold-frankincense-myrrh-unmounted-rubber-stamp-sheet-dl.html">Gold, Frankincense, Myrrh</a> set and then layered over a piece of black card.<p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEjogDtpkhcR7SQO8_Ri_5UuWi8z6SIIM9dASyqg0mY2tOnRzbKi0y5MbiuBemud-jnCoQpVdFaZTd2xH5mfA18PR1DXZzwLadR8IjbjAha-0nQc2jqqkVCr5tCtSHNblPgoRHyuMPmT_04B5vJHCEnQ0DgfbZJfQjCstLSLUtQK3rQvsbrqTXHftv/s2610/IMG_20220326_083948579.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2610" data-original-width="2564" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEjogDtpkhcR7SQO8_Ri_5UuWi8z6SIIM9dASyqg0mY2tOnRzbKi0y5MbiuBemud-jnCoQpVdFaZTd2xH5mfA18PR1DXZzwLadR8IjbjAha-0nQc2jqqkVCr5tCtSHNblPgoRHyuMPmT_04B5vJHCEnQ0DgfbZJfQjCstLSLUtQK3rQvsbrqTXHftv/w393-h400/IMG_20220326_083948579.jpg" width="393" /></a></div><p><br /></p>Next I used Masking Tissue again to stamp an edge of sunflowers on a 6x6 card. With all stamped images covered I then stamped the Studded Lattice over the top. I removed the tissue and coloured with Distress Inks. I mat and layered and attached to the front of 8x8 card.<p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1SDzq0G2eZUjNiJlCNpRt6vC2n9asvpxQUfbdtGhbLjiIkMYRl7fTNeZRgV42BUFj2Tmqbdcs7OXhLler--OfZ_m7NhdbCprX-GZ1MzabPeEe555d--NtCDA_cFV6tBK16dJjWPX6Z09wMlUu3eYVCvsy7EUE8kjaWQcPki29M7V4KyFkiyQ3b408/s2610/IMG_20220326_084004793.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2610" data-original-width="2604" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1SDzq0G2eZUjNiJlCNpRt6vC2n9asvpxQUfbdtGhbLjiIkMYRl7fTNeZRgV42BUFj2Tmqbdcs7OXhLler--OfZ_m7NhdbCprX-GZ1MzabPeEe555d--NtCDA_cFV6tBK16dJjWPX6Z09wMlUu3eYVCvsy7EUE8kjaWQcPki29M7V4KyFkiyQ3b408/w399-h400/IMG_20220326_084004793.jpg" width="399" /></a></div><p><br /></p>For my last card today I started by stamping a background using <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/dusky-damask-unmounted-rubber-stamp-sheet-a4.html">Dusky Damask</a> and Distress Inks. I then cut two layers from and oval die. I coloured both layers with Distress and used the Studded Lattice on the smaller oval. I then stamped one of the sunflowers out twice and layered it in the centre. I used some mica in the the centre of the flower for texture.<p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFtbWIWOPKgHSz_TekGhJZI_WKb-1e2iADUubX7sb3OMZ9ljYqI_ifaQht0ZU52Pnz3CEy77SGaLw5o-1lIJ9gGjrV1_9G38CEVV8GSXljKPHU3Btr_wV53YWgqRSC9iyBICWRO3DyqRrxR0lNh7257OwpfI8o5A_Rw1W9cMfJ2xi4k-nPkScPyQsm/s3627/IMG_20220326_084019296.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3627" data-original-width="2610" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFtbWIWOPKgHSz_TekGhJZI_WKb-1e2iADUubX7sb3OMZ9ljYqI_ifaQht0ZU52Pnz3CEy77SGaLw5o-1lIJ9gGjrV1_9G38CEVV8GSXljKPHU3Btr_wV53YWgqRSC9iyBICWRO3DyqRrxR0lNh7257OwpfI8o5A_Rw1W9cMfJ2xi4k-nPkScPyQsm/w288-h400/IMG_20220326_084019296.jpg" width="288" /></a></div><br /> Thanks for looking<p></p><p>Sandra x</p>Sandrahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18138483587371235308noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8817692420442836699.post-83886532176801066982022-04-23T07:00:00.003+01:002022-04-23T07:00:00.178+01:00Elemental<p> Hello, I am sharing my third post of the month with you to show my Chocolate Baroque cards made for the Create and Craft shows in March.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I have used <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/floral-paraphernalia-elements-unmounted-rubber-stamp-set-a6.html">Floral Paraphernalia Elements</a> and <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/out-of-the-trees-elements-unmounted-rubber-stamp-set-a6.html">Out of the Trees Elements</a> stamp sets. These really compliment the main sets, but can also be used as stand alone sets.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">For my first card I sprinkled some Turquoise Brusho down the edge of a card blank, lightly spritzed it and left it to dry overnight. Once it was dry I stamped the Port Hole shapes and solid circles. I then stamped the floral and leaf stamps, masking where needed. I used pencils to colour in. I added some of the number stamps from the sets and a quote from <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/artistic-expressions-unmounted-rubber-stamp-set-a4.html">Artistic Expressions.</a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1SgW5hNiXDB6mz1XSo6vU7WA4fn22GRzn-1yCL5Y9axWZd0ktawncHeBuNUOhUMVU2-i9J2_dxg2xlYGqCpKblGLuv0tFs2w1ugAbxuj6lqrglsHDqXHSOfsU9sxEsmF4Atwq-SbzH38j3jQF06_9iQlbsv13ewYCRNCh_mgkyKCNK3VebHVJAJ_w/s3909/IMG_20220203_075414361.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3909" data-original-width="2610" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1SgW5hNiXDB6mz1XSo6vU7WA4fn22GRzn-1yCL5Y9axWZd0ktawncHeBuNUOhUMVU2-i9J2_dxg2xlYGqCpKblGLuv0tFs2w1ugAbxuj6lqrglsHDqXHSOfsU9sxEsmF4Atwq-SbzH38j3jQF06_9iQlbsv13ewYCRNCh_mgkyKCNK3VebHVJAJ_w/w429-h640/IMG_20220203_075414361.jpg" width="429" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Next I used the Element stamps to create a small scene. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Starting from the "front" I stamped the stone wall. I then masked a small area so that I could stamp the deer behind the wall. I then masked the deer and stamped the treeline. I used a stencil to create some hills in the background and coloured with Distress Inks. I finished by adding the script stamp to the lower edge.</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNXcw0rLah2ejywn08LkqxDylVwHdLeWAKj4-o28t3ZN9WjPsySAj0zPI1buFmdDKxjidui7m5Jktf9GxaZpkAHUYXS5jI7KSmaonRnTcdZ3Wwxq8DI_rRN37nk6dTpXvmGifUe4ppJia8gg3_0tbuqxRrYxwlbLq3EqfkCZcoCJTJhblq6MXmchSN/s2638/IMG_20220223_172927049.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2638" data-original-width="2610" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNXcw0rLah2ejywn08LkqxDylVwHdLeWAKj4-o28t3ZN9WjPsySAj0zPI1buFmdDKxjidui7m5Jktf9GxaZpkAHUYXS5jI7KSmaonRnTcdZ3Wwxq8DI_rRN37nk6dTpXvmGifUe4ppJia8gg3_0tbuqxRrYxwlbLq3EqfkCZcoCJTJhblq6MXmchSN/w396-h400/IMG_20220223_172927049.jpg" width="396" /></a></div><p><br /></p>For my last card today I used my stamping platform to repeat stamp the flower and leaf stamps. I used my heat gun to dry the ink - Black Archival, and then sprinkled Black Brushos over the top. I then spritzed very lightly with water. I left it to dry naturally overnight and then blended Black Soot Distress Ink around the edges. I then mat and layered onto some white cardstock and then onto a black card base.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKqb831cE_AByUvSTCyDaaNRDYXe-h3PQkbUgKHao3Nt84vOGSogZjsS-Kg2uu0JogJ8m3Q19HfE0yobZ0T-yYLCxEIP09LMiPY3erEnLjlSElH5ahRE01JCsmouc6bR6MYjYt4M8I8QrBeiAGrlud0MGtMM5Yp_WYbZbDBrpBMNfvbLtfohMp91vQ/s9280/IMG_20220126_190853252%20(1).jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3365" data-original-width="9280" height="232" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKqb831cE_AByUvSTCyDaaNRDYXe-h3PQkbUgKHao3Nt84vOGSogZjsS-Kg2uu0JogJ8m3Q19HfE0yobZ0T-yYLCxEIP09LMiPY3erEnLjlSElH5ahRE01JCsmouc6bR6MYjYt4M8I8QrBeiAGrlud0MGtMM5Yp_WYbZbDBrpBMNfvbLtfohMp91vQ/w640-h232/IMG_20220126_190853252%20(1).jpg" width="640" /></a></div><p><br /></p>For my next card I made a Z card base. I then spritzed with water and let the magic happen! I left it to dry naturally as I think the colour stays more vibrant. Once it was dry I cut the sheet down into 4 pieces and added one of the sentiments from the set to each piece. I added some orange die cuts as a contrast to the Turquoise Brusho. <br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEifMLx3kTMWLhBXHe4FWYVxZB7j_Mbb22q7TE-edgDS-grL9hhAJngq09JjbMAkEIkcjP2EeHVLY58G1EYnlh92DfxkJaJdjVcTRhqjJN7xW_STlUN6S-8wuHVCnF8iUiDCAyN3VaDEmn9Ao7RfodPOVp-F7A85v6CYOx8swLkn5xIgSinT8k070ElI=s6944" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="5352" data-original-width="6944" height="247" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEifMLx3kTMWLhBXHe4FWYVxZB7j_Mbb22q7TE-edgDS-grL9hhAJngq09JjbMAkEIkcjP2EeHVLY58G1EYnlh92DfxkJaJdjVcTRhqjJN7xW_STlUN6S-8wuHVCnF8iUiDCAyN3VaDEmn9Ao7RfodPOVp-F7A85v6CYOx8swLkn5xIgSinT8k070ElI=s320" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjXgSUlqZZ6lT_dWnoVoxIq_bxcKID2FlIxXPpovKEo7bdFZgkG8aTwYWpFGjo50KwfzYyeQoOl_LCXElezw0O2UuyqyjrG0-dqv2kgZw8w4ecEMlw85As98QBmQewjlRbMlV_f7tR5cCiTlffIZBicnufXQKH6Qa-bHpXKdcyYtVJ9ptcXUCMiBecI=s6341" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4549" data-original-width="6341" height="230" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjXgSUlqZZ6lT_dWnoVoxIq_bxcKID2FlIxXPpovKEo7bdFZgkG8aTwYWpFGjo50KwfzYyeQoOl_LCXElezw0O2UuyqyjrG0-dqv2kgZw8w4ecEMlw85As98QBmQewjlRbMlV_f7tR5cCiTlffIZBicnufXQKH6Qa-bHpXKdcyYtVJ9ptcXUCMiBecI=s320" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEi-SGP7ZsavrTiX61ijcSzjuBcDPv0naYuXE7KWJzSE_mefhFryVx90aLfseKIcKtfKVHLYMGjKN9lt47ozkMUxiy5gzBVMZWzQxfUQvGT8Gy9akQc-Fj7xe33cdHJY0n2HMYd3-0wuk0h2w9Bw2mG_TPXa4qxUGvun23EbxEE-7oJcMnKv-XidMc9Z=s9167" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="9167" data-original-width="6944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEi-SGP7ZsavrTiX61ijcSzjuBcDPv0naYuXE7KWJzSE_mefhFryVx90aLfseKIcKtfKVHLYMGjKN9lt47ozkMUxiy5gzBVMZWzQxfUQvGT8Gy9akQc-Fj7xe33cdHJY0n2HMYd3-0wuk0h2w9Bw2mG_TPXa4qxUGvun23EbxEE-7oJcMnKv-XidMc9Z=s320" width="242" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjillLwHnhmeQTBByZZmqykBzuGJgAakD66y_x_Ktm13GFN-D3Jy8XULp4ubYW6-kgnTF3pabMnqzFOl3gUzFdBeUols5k1vX_USk6Mt3Gv02Sk8qu-Q-6gcviYL--wjimptPDnfel-z0TSCOJQpOUUxhfJ9V2Kzj4_srpQeHEM04gqpom-ly87odcj=s9106" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="9106" data-original-width="6944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjillLwHnhmeQTBByZZmqykBzuGJgAakD66y_x_Ktm13GFN-D3Jy8XULp4ubYW6-kgnTF3pabMnqzFOl3gUzFdBeUols5k1vX_USk6Mt3Gv02Sk8qu-Q-6gcviYL--wjimptPDnfel-z0TSCOJQpOUUxhfJ9V2Kzj4_srpQeHEM04gqpom-ly87odcj=s320" width="244" /></a></div><p><br /></p>My next card uses the <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/butterfly-mind-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Butterfly Mind</a> stamp set.....one of my favourites. I finished by adding a sentiment from the set..<p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiKNlKcCKacDEjtnC15pjRNNo8rGVNfMN70GMPFfYsGR0keH7-DIJIeMw3GeSIWEZ0O1Il3iKTE0u7FZP-KhPrRXGMKcFzSisqhAUvWO0g6QmG4mmEh1fx_eLErmYVQlX97OLI2S-2DaV8moLzExF6ujPWs2_YMtqPZ1JWiZj3ucovI16fsuxhhqosq=s7077" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="7077" data-original-width="6944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiKNlKcCKacDEjtnC15pjRNNo8rGVNfMN70GMPFfYsGR0keH7-DIJIeMw3GeSIWEZ0O1Il3iKTE0u7FZP-KhPrRXGMKcFzSisqhAUvWO0g6QmG4mmEh1fx_eLErmYVQlX97OLI2S-2DaV8moLzExF6ujPWs2_YMtqPZ1JWiZj3ucovI16fsuxhhqosq=s320" width="314" /></a></div><p> </p><p>On my next card I stamped some splatters and the large butterfly from <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/butterfly-mind-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Butterfly Mind</a>. Adding a cut out butterfly over a stamped image means I don't have to worry about cutting out those fiddly antennae! I finished by adding a sentiment and some gems and mat and layered onto a 6x6 card base.</p><p></p><p></p><p> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiPkpg7Y3j6thxWmxkFusgrzZSTIYYwOTtBWfsjLb8NjNpFIXgz1Z1IJqxy5qX3iuoo_lf7EhCWiyTVBVSgNBstXYZc69r32M9bc4-Qq5VNArNUdMhwFVOd50tWmhnxUVbrt_aDLEEqASUfaki5yM2HxJP1luuhjCowRFMicBvikrxYETaPCVipZNHt=s7000" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="7000" data-original-width="6944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiPkpg7Y3j6thxWmxkFusgrzZSTIYYwOTtBWfsjLb8NjNpFIXgz1Z1IJqxy5qX3iuoo_lf7EhCWiyTVBVSgNBstXYZc69r32M9bc4-Qq5VNArNUdMhwFVOd50tWmhnxUVbrt_aDLEEqASUfaki5yM2HxJP1luuhjCowRFMicBvikrxYETaPCVipZNHt=s320" width="317" /></a></p><p>I stamped the <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/UA6SP0554.html">Wish Flower</a> in Memento Ink and coloured with alcohol markers. I have mat and layered onto a 7"x5" card base using coordinating colours of cardstock. Great for a birthday card.</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjhD82bHyTTxnAWxB8gDhe3wcOUvLis7RAfgI4hMg_tYJu7RO8tM3V8Ff3cwnG0QjGx7US9viRUGTYhtIurlXuzJXbFHfffqKIRCJmylYb7Owt-nPzUItTl-XzrBgagdjQHFCFYyl3L7ofDSrfYBXcCmBEkJ7uM-uXyJAQDAIVPlifze4G-KPS0mAJc=s3584" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3584" data-original-width="2610" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjhD82bHyTTxnAWxB8gDhe3wcOUvLis7RAfgI4hMg_tYJu7RO8tM3V8Ff3cwnG0QjGx7US9viRUGTYhtIurlXuzJXbFHfffqKIRCJmylYb7Owt-nPzUItTl-XzrBgagdjQHFCFYyl3L7ofDSrfYBXcCmBEkJ7uM-uXyJAQDAIVPlifze4G-KPS0mAJc=w291-h400" width="291" /></a></div><p>For my second card I have used soft purple markers to colour the flowers and added some green to the background. I found this combination very peaceful and ideal for those difficult cards we have to make sometimes. I have used the two larger poppy seed heads from <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/sow-the-seeds-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Sow the Seeds</a> stamp set.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjJXUM6WGoXAtANiVtgpiXR9u3y_fmvoqOofZiF62pLmW0rKptG03JmoHf93jTvG4lE2JGn2JPg6rec26u_vXcgIh34hAIdZ2KkNOyU1w-mDaz8AS-dgCIBQBmK-oObrvFfB79kHNskfhPBotFUqjf0ezBaZPQpO1B6fS6Fd67a97o3pWnHNKiXSdgx=s3639" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3639" data-original-width="2610" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjJXUM6WGoXAtANiVtgpiXR9u3y_fmvoqOofZiF62pLmW0rKptG03JmoHf93jTvG4lE2JGn2JPg6rec26u_vXcgIh34hAIdZ2KkNOyU1w-mDaz8AS-dgCIBQBmK-oObrvFfB79kHNskfhPBotFUqjf0ezBaZPQpO1B6fS6Fd67a97o3pWnHNKiXSdgx=s320" width="230" /></a></div><div><br /></div>Stamp the image onto some white tissue paper with VersaMark ink and emboss in gold. I am using a white candle, if you are using a different colour candle use tissue paper of that colour. I then cut an aperture in a piece of acetate the size of the individual "stamp". I placed the aperture over the card and used Distress Inks to colour each stamp in. Once the ink was dry I used Archival ink and stamps from Curiosities and Mail Art to decorate. I finished by layering onto some black card and then onto a card base.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEg78jV66s4-Kw5IVrwKZ61fnDT-7HL-Qye-3O53VARy4rAz1Ic7mWueYF4lq94rxGFtqePkZnjYSvf1D1VJrXoF9uQsigF58tBPYX9iPYOcaFCzwxXOTMUWxaxoi1VYy6YxWNP6MDeqaFFfpXcHLu3Gzh976xD0MwKU5Er4HTQmq6Ev8nD123MkHqkW=s3194" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3194" data-original-width="2610" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEg78jV66s4-Kw5IVrwKZ61fnDT-7HL-Qye-3O53VARy4rAz1Ic7mWueYF4lq94rxGFtqePkZnjYSvf1D1VJrXoF9uQsigF58tBPYX9iPYOcaFCzwxXOTMUWxaxoi1VYy6YxWNP6MDeqaFFfpXcHLu3Gzh976xD0MwKU5Er4HTQmq6Ev8nD123MkHqkW=w326-h400" width="326" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">For my next card I used a stencil to create a background with Distress Inks. I then used stamps from Teeny Weeny Meadow to make a country scene with trees and ferns in the foreground and leaves hanging down. I then stamped the landmark buildings from Curiosities along the top edge. I also stamped these onto some <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/masking-tissue-a4-pack-of-3.html">Masking Tissue</a>, cut them out and covered the stamped images on my card. I blended some inks to create a sunset behind the buildings. Next, I moved the washi tape so that the bottom edge was now on the horizon and used inks to create a watery look. I removed the washi tape and Masking Tissue and stamped the word Postcard from the Mail Art set. I trimmed my card and adhered to a DL base.</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhx0fbA_8XSDBpal3mzKE0AlKbsN77m4ilvx9aQ59fX7ksBgtvJjbejylt4PVR0Nc0GL8MVriraw4pLITVwMNw6JZqtnPc6__WXCYH5B3eXR2YiG7pT07N53QOdLcHDer2MgFJAeZEnJCJ5pFKiGNIopNik6zfW-IBdu5wFEDEaOCibB7ItqjiSZ-h3=s2610" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1257" data-original-width="2610" height="309" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhx0fbA_8XSDBpal3mzKE0AlKbsN77m4ilvx9aQ59fX7ksBgtvJjbejylt4PVR0Nc0GL8MVriraw4pLITVwMNw6JZqtnPc6__WXCYH5B3eXR2YiG7pT07N53QOdLcHDer2MgFJAeZEnJCJ5pFKiGNIopNik6zfW-IBdu5wFEDEaOCibB7ItqjiSZ-h3=w640-h309" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p>Thanks for looking</p><p>Sandra x</p>Sandrahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18138483587371235308noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8817692420442836699.post-1968853887950282022-01-03T07:00:00.001+00:002022-01-03T07:00:00.195+00:00<p> Hello everyone, I hope you had a lovely and peaceful Christmas and I wish you all a Happy New Year.</p><div><br /></div><div>I am showing some of my samples from the Chocolate Baroque show on The Craft Store in December.</div><div>These cards feature the Garden range of stamps. </div><div>I have used 8x8 card bases for mine.</div><div><br /></div><div>My first card is <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/the-christmas-garden-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">The Christmas Garden</a>, because it's never too early to start your cards for next Christmas!</div><div>I stamped in Memento Ink and coloured in alcohol markers. The second picture shows it lit up.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjpZ_Jm9Rbd2JNoLsWHsuK0TDS2AOKl3QyzIi18d6hgHpF-GCpmLC-PBwsHp7BNXqCH8Im1HK3k_-MGUlSZvRpqqL7NAASOai7F0DgfKdNr-YGrvrUKMTgBrUNYxBja2ltUonOYe5qdY9ue07FUSGVUwYzZlu6_staf7oyp0KqL5GXTcnG6CjQFiLD0=s2048" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1515" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjpZ_Jm9Rbd2JNoLsWHsuK0TDS2AOKl3QyzIi18d6hgHpF-GCpmLC-PBwsHp7BNXqCH8Im1HK3k_-MGUlSZvRpqqL7NAASOai7F0DgfKdNr-YGrvrUKMTgBrUNYxBja2ltUonOYe5qdY9ue07FUSGVUwYzZlu6_staf7oyp0KqL5GXTcnG6CjQFiLD0=w296-h400" width="296" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEi5YlDvWppDU6AuRlhYblnLyNls0gurMYWyEKSy13SChLSGHUyDKG3EnYHTFZXLV1338Y75ZlY-sHo_oIjvM0EBiIAH6a5GKXlxxq4XDuaQnT4lch-Rs5BrnGnD2PHjsbwe_OPYSLtgcWomgIBmTiUd5V4Z_TkXkUFwNyXtGCu0D_fgupv4pNnJfRh2=s2048" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1700" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEi5YlDvWppDU6AuRlhYblnLyNls0gurMYWyEKSy13SChLSGHUyDKG3EnYHTFZXLV1338Y75ZlY-sHo_oIjvM0EBiIAH6a5GKXlxxq4XDuaQnT4lch-Rs5BrnGnD2PHjsbwe_OPYSLtgcWomgIBmTiUd5V4Z_TkXkUFwNyXtGCu0D_fgupv4pNnJfRh2=w333-h400" width="333" /></a></div><br />I hope you all have a happy and healthy Christmas and I'll be back next year.<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Sandra x</div>Sandrahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18138483587371235308noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8817692420442836699.post-15969305398725144452021-12-12T07:00:00.001+00:002021-12-12T07:00:00.186+00:00Beautiful Trees<p> Hello, I'm sharing some more of my cards from the November show on the Craft Store for Chocolate Baroque.</p><p>My first card uses <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/trees-a-crowd-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Trees a Crowd.</a> I started with a 18cm piece of card and using a stencil I blended Distress Oxides to create my background scene and moon. I spritzed the background with some water and blotted it to give me a snowy effect. I added some sparkle to the moon, but unfortunately it doesn't show on the photo. I then stamped the main bare tree stamp 3 times at different heights. I stamped out a sentiment and mat and layered my pieces onto a 20cm card base,</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiqhoEjssaUDGYwhDp8DLv878YtRcrtOVpEMyfEqNMU9lZGoGdh6eMYqalG3IJ6lfPK0j1Gt6oPRbuIvIKlGz3lt1-kUyWsmkDjkdu6U6EXhDaIuar8igsfJFXUV3SXtON0xTbgVxiSLzsx4ifSGfJDGX-3hShRdD2ORg5BApwR3aUaTKUfn3wMRhYo=s2048" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1925" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiqhoEjssaUDGYwhDp8DLv878YtRcrtOVpEMyfEqNMU9lZGoGdh6eMYqalG3IJ6lfPK0j1Gt6oPRbuIvIKlGz3lt1-kUyWsmkDjkdu6U6EXhDaIuar8igsfJFXUV3SXtON0xTbgVxiSLzsx4ifSGfJDGX-3hShRdD2ORg5BApwR3aUaTKUfn3wMRhYo=w376-h400" width="376" /></a></div><div><br /></div>For my next card I used a roller to apply Versafine Clair ink to my <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/chocolate-baroque-inky-plate-a5.html">Inky Plate</a>. I cut a strip of card that was as wide as my card base, but narrower and pulled the print. I then used a scrap of copy paper to make a hill and applied ink with a blending brush. I stamped the trees in Archival ink and adhered to my card base. I added the sentiment which was stamped onto a piece of card with a torn edge.<div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjSCsszoWjXDnqs7iMmaYv5ZrymnaSxOU4eYAtFJKyKhQkR9OPPRQXYjDKjGLRRMhxYF69ZSFgpPkiXH_bVcvW6W4U9e_jPQ9Ki7efAyei0AxQQo-Ngb3FhNRI4IiRNRFcA9x-R9f4ww7pQyCq8AoilZiRPi1E4ok5W73CwqrgO5rFcp0WUKOHUkd8R=s2048" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1435" data-original-width="2048" height="280" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjSCsszoWjXDnqs7iMmaYv5ZrymnaSxOU4eYAtFJKyKhQkR9OPPRQXYjDKjGLRRMhxYF69ZSFgpPkiXH_bVcvW6W4U9e_jPQ9Ki7efAyei0AxQQo-Ngb3FhNRI4IiRNRFcA9x-R9f4ww7pQyCq8AoilZiRPi1E4ok5W73CwqrgO5rFcp0WUKOHUkd8R=w400-h280" width="400" /></a></div><div><br /></div>My next card uses the <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/harmony-tree-rubber-stamp-sheet-chocolate-block.html">Harmony Tree</a>, <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/small-graph-paper-rubber-stamp-sheet-chocolate-block.html">Small Graph Paper</a> and <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/artist-trading-heart-unmounted-rubber-stamp-set-a6.html">Artist Trading Heart</a> stamp sets.</div><div><br /></div><div>I started by stamping the heart onto a piece of card and masking off the outside. I blended Distress Inks to make my background and then stamped the tree. I used colouring pencils for the tree. I removed the mask and added the chain as a hanger and added a shadow on the edge of the heart. I finished by adding the sentiment and layering onto a 15cm card base.</div><div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiDuHmH33_96KIzJ5FC-wJ_-d0ZZfEBxNW-kdkStbE0HmHTwdq6IcWy4k4kwi7MkhiA5xoXDz9YGr4YWCm4oFMRdG7xANEqQCjqJYnZmIsBOr7oG9bYoYn19Y_iSval_dnEZYGQ2ORJmGQ60PYcc_eWQrH1vs84MteQlCmHeCpPzjiRpvd6GdgTQYiO=s2048" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2020" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEiDuHmH33_96KIzJ5FC-wJ_-d0ZZfEBxNW-kdkStbE0HmHTwdq6IcWy4k4kwi7MkhiA5xoXDz9YGr4YWCm4oFMRdG7xANEqQCjqJYnZmIsBOr7oG9bYoYn19Y_iSval_dnEZYGQ2ORJmGQ60PYcc_eWQrH1vs84MteQlCmHeCpPzjiRpvd6GdgTQYiO=w395-h400" width="395" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">My last card today uses the <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/remembrance-tree-rubber-stamp-sheet-chocolate-block.html">Remembrance Tree</a> stamp set. I used a small piece of watercolour card stock and sprinkled with Brushos which I then sprayed with water. Amazes me every time! Once it was dry I stamped the tree in the lower part and added the words from Remembrance Tree and Harmony Tree. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhcKNZxaWLnvzAwoQHgIbDt5RDby8gw7_8y23We0ZjRDbg_FrkY-OZXaGyr1lgNl2CutlM9CSu1v2lnwE1WMAIUOttS8fqY5xUy3cW6w0umUsV6BmwTagz43l57ggzNVO5dMSsP2sxQMlxudWWjflIFUVV2ZwKakXJktuP7qY7l2TBiC-nY63YDuHf1=s2048" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1443" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhcKNZxaWLnvzAwoQHgIbDt5RDby8gw7_8y23We0ZjRDbg_FrkY-OZXaGyr1lgNl2CutlM9CSu1v2lnwE1WMAIUOttS8fqY5xUy3cW6w0umUsV6BmwTagz43l57ggzNVO5dMSsP2sxQMlxudWWjflIFUVV2ZwKakXJktuP7qY7l2TBiC-nY63YDuHf1=w281-h400" width="281" /></a></div><br /><p>Thanks for looking</p><p>Sandra x</p></div>Sandrahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18138483587371235308noreply@blogger.com0
