Less is More Week 28 - One Layer

There's a new challenge over at Less is More this week.

"The special feature we would like to see this week is for you to
USE INK
** This does include ink pads **
...hopefully in a way you haven't tried before.... or using a favourite technique.
If you can avoid using the computer this week, that would be great, but we wouldn't want to to miss a week if the computer is your only method of card making."
For my card I stamped the butterfly from Patchwork Butterfly set from Chocolate Baroque with Memento ink and then masked it with a Post - It note.  I then stamped CI Script in Adirondack Slate and used a water brush to smudge it a bit.  Removed the mask and coloured the butterfly with Adirondack Stonewashed and DI Antique Linen and Spun Sugar again using the water brush.

Bye for now
Sandra

Love the smudged effect of the script & the soft colouring of the butterfly.
I'm having a hard time keeping up commenting! But then I am doing it backwards too.

Hi Sandra. Thank you for your kind comment on my blog. I love your LIM card, as well as so many others displayed on your blog. Gorgeous work. I am so curious about Ranger products all of a sudden. This is new ground for me. Anyway, I love your beautiful butterfly and the script background. The touch of blue is beautiful.

This is a stunning card. I particularly like the way that you watered down the stamped script image.
