Less is More Week 18

This weeks challenge at Less is More is MONOCHROME.

Definition:

1. in shades of one color: using or displaying only shades of one color or black and white.
You may choose any colour you wish, but please keep all the shades you use within your chosen spectrum.

For my card I chose Pink - very unlike me!

I masked off an area and sponged DI Spun Sugar, I then stamped Lavinia's Dandelion  stamp with Adirondack Cranberry, added some dark pink glitter and stamped a sentiment from Crafty Individuals.

Check out the Challenge site for some fab entries!

Thanks to Chrissie and Mandi for stretching my crafting outlook!

I have been taking part since week 2 (missed the first week!), and enjoyed everyone of the challenges.  If I'm not around for the next few weeks it's because we are decorating - three bedrooms in one go - how optimistic is that!  But the end result will be my own crafting space, so will be worth it.

Hope to see you soon and thank you for the lovely comments that have been left over the last weeks :)

Sandra

This is super Sandra, we've loved all your entries over the past weeks, and will miss you whilst you decorate (I wouldn't mind betting that you get the odd card submitted in that time)and we'd like to see pics of your craft room when it's done.
Love the stamp and the colours you chose.
Thanks so much

All the best with the decorating. Love this stamp & how your framed part of it -very effective & I do like the non-black monochromatic approach.

Hi Sandra, Firstly can I say thankyou for the lovely comments you've left on my blog. I'm sorry I haven't had time to visit before but I've just had a really good nosy round your lovely blog. You have some beautiful cards on display here and I am in awe of your brayering (post on 22nd April I think). That is one technique I have not yet mastered.

I am not usually a pink girl either but you have made a particularly elegant card here and created a lovely frame for the delicate dandelion. Lovely work!

Hugs
